Place the animal on its side. Start shearing from the belly and continue toward the back. When you finish one side, turn the animal and continue from the other side. These are experience tips – you can choose the method that suits you. Lubricate the head every 10 minutes: Drop 2 drops of SAE 30 oil into the head opening. During shearing, dip the cutting blades in a cleaning mixture. If the animals are very dirty, the cleaning process may need to be more frequent. In case of overheating, the machine will turn off and the switch will pop out. Let it cool down and press the switch again. Check and clean the air filter if necessary. Do not use the machine without a filter or with a filter installed incorrectly. After changing cutting blades: Tighten the regulator all the way and then loosen it two half-turns. Lubricate before starting. If the machine struggles, loosen it a bit. If it leaves streaks, tighten slightly. The machine should not be too tight as it will strain and heat up, and it should not be loose as there is a risk of accident and shearing becomes difficult. Remember: Don't shear wet animals. Choose warm days. Start with clean animals. Adjust the machine correctly. Don't use unsharpened cutting blades. Keep them clean to prevent rust. Lubricate the cutting blades and head during shearing. Keep the air filter clean. When you finish shearing, send the cutting blades for sharpening and maintenance.
